Amy’s Eggnog Recipe:
4 eggs (yolks and whites separated,) 1/3 cup granulated white sugar, 2 cups vanilla almond milk, 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 3 ounces Buffalo Trace Bourbon, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg.
Beat the egg yolks with a hand whisk until they begin to lighten in color.
While whisking, gradually incorporate the sugar until combined.
Next, add the milk, cream, bourbon, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk together.
Set aside and in a separate bowl, whisk your egg whites with 1 tbsp sugar until stiff peaks form. Pour eggnog into glasses, top with egg whites, and garnish with cinnamon and cinnamon stick. Serves 5-6. Enjoy!
